Get ready to fire up the grill and compete for the title of Steaks in the Grove Steak Champion!
Hosted by the Honey Grove Chamber of Commerce, Steaks in the Grove is a one-of-a-kind steak cookoff benefiting the Crockett Park Playground Project. Teams will compete for cash prizes, People's Choice bragging rights, and a chance to help build something special for Honey Grove families.
Steak Champion – $1,000
2nd Place – $500
3rd Place – $250
People's Choice Award – $250
Following Round One judging, teams will receive additional steaks to prepare for public tasting. Attendees will sample steaks from competing teams and vote for their favorite to determine the People's Choice Award.
Teams are welcome to prepare and serve additional foods, meats, appetizers, and samples to attendees; however, only official competition steaks will be judged.

We are accepting 43 inside vendors and 5 food trucks for this year’s event. Spaces are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Inside Vendor Booths – $100
One 10x10 booth space inside The Rails. If you'd like a double or triple space, please pay for two or three spots.
Perfect for boutiques, artisans, crafters, baked goods, handmade gifts, and more.
Food Truck Spaces – $125
Outdoor space in the designated vendor area (limit: 5).
Must provide proper permits and follow all health regulations.

Setup begins at 7:00 AM. All vendors must be ready by 8:45 AM.
Tear down begins at 4:00 PM. No early departures.
Booths must be decorated in a clean and festive manner.
Food vendors must provide proper permits.
No refunds for cancellations after booth purchase.

Davy Crockett Day is an annual festival celebrating the rich history and vibrant community of Honey Grove — the town famously named by Davy Crockett himself in the 1830s. Set against the backdrop of our historic downtown square, this highly anticipated event brings visitors from across the region together for a full day of family-friendly fun, live entertainment, delicious food, shopping, and community celebration.
Festival activities and shopping will take place from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM and will include live music, food trucks, local businesses, handmade goods, boutiques, crafts, baked goods, entertainment, and more.
As one of Honey Grove’s premier annual events, Davy Crockett Day provides an incredible opportunity for vendors to showcase their products and services to a large, engaged audience. Whether you’re an artisan, boutique, food vendor, nonprofit, or local business, we invite you to be part of this celebrated tradition.
